From the Pastor's Heart and Desk:

Worship Services: On Sunday, May 4 our main combined worship service will be held at the new pavilion on our church property at 816 State Route 168 at 3PM. Yes, the Worship Service will be held at 3PM. This service will help us catch a vision for what God has planned for us on this new property. We have the opportunity to impact lives and this will be the beginning of seeing the vision clearly. Since this is the first Sunday of the month we will be collecting our monthly offering for the building fund. After the service we will have a fellowship time together. The church will provide beverages, cups, plates, flatware, napkins, hamburgers and hot dogs. We are asking everyone to bring a salad, dessert or chips to share with others. Bring your lawn chairs!! There will be Sunday School for all ages at 9:45 and we will hold a prayer service in the sanctuary at 11:00AM.

Youth: Thanks to the youth for leading the worship services on Sunday, April 27. We are so proud of our teenagers and are praying for their continued growth in the Lord.

Vacation Bible School: June 23-27, Vacation Bible School will be coming soon. If you would like to help, please contact Lisa Berger or Amy Olszewski. Volunteers will be needed to help with lessons, music, crafts and food.

Children’s Camp: The Conference is having a children’s camp for children going into grades 3 to 5 from June 16 – 20 at the Tri-State Campground in East Liverpool, Ohio. For information or registration see Lorie Hutchison by May 25.

Conference Church Health Days: The Conference will be holding their last training session for the Conference year on Saturday, May 17th at the Apollo Church from 9AM – 4PM. The topics covered this day will be Need Oriented Evangelism and Passionate Spirituality. Anyone interested in attending should call the church office or let Pastor Olszewski know by May 7 so that reservation can be made. The church provides the cost of the lunch. We will leave the church parking lot at 7AM.

Congratulations to Shannon McDonald, Brittney Helwig, Andrew Marsh and Kyle Hutchison who were selected to attend the Teen Leadership Conference at Roberts Wesleyan College in July. The Teen Leadership Conference is held every other year and is a way to help our youth connect to the church. Please pray that these young people will come home from this event with a renewed desire to follow the Lord.
